im using an Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A @144hz + a Dell S2440L @60hz.

the asus monitor is connected via DP and the dell monitor via HDMI.

now i have this problem where if there's any animation going on on my Dell monitor my main display goes down to 60hz as well.

ive tried googling and looking up reddit posts regarding this issue and I cant seem to find a good fix for it, some people report that it doesnt happen to them, some say they suffer the same issue I do.

so should I just connect my dell monitor directly to my motherboard and use the i-gpu of my 9900K? and if so, would there be any noticeable impact on my performance?.

or is there some other way or tweak i need to do in nvidia control panel or windows.

my system specs.

cpu: i9 - 9900k
mobo: asus strix z390-E
ram: 32gb trident z
gpu: msi rtx 2070
psu: seasonic focus plus gold 850w
