Question Help removing laptop battery cable from motherboard Asus ROG 702v (see picture)

Could you please tell me how to disconnect my old laptop battery cable from the laptop's motherboard on a ROG 702v.

I've tried pulling straight out and the cable won't separate from the motherboard. I can't figure out how to unlock it if there is a lock. Maybe I am not using enough force pulling straight out?

I think I read some of these cables have locks that I have to release, maybe by pinching the sides -- but that's not working here and it doesn't want to come off by just tugging.

Do you see any locks in the picture. How do I unlock it? Or do I just pull straight out.

Have you tried grabbing cables with fingers on each side, wiggling a little forward then pull up? I know I had a laptop battery cable that pulled up.

I pulled very very hard at a 30* or so angle and it came out. Now I am having trouble getting the new one back in. Do you know what I need to do?

I got it powering on now -- what I did was push that silver part down to lock the connector in place.

My battery lights are no longer showing up which is weird but at least it turns on and I can use it now
