[SOLVED] Help replacing A88XM-PLUS with similar motherboard

Hello everyone. First post for me.
I have an ASUS A88XM-PLUS motherboard, an AMD A10-7890 CPU and 16GB memory DDR3.
I’ve had years of reliability with this motherboard but now it seems to be deteriorating, disks not showing up then reappearing, not booting even when forcing it, stuff like that. I need to replace it and was thinking of getting the same one but it seems ASUS no longer has BIOS updates for it so it makes more sense to me to go for a different one with at least the same features and compatibility with my CPU. Any advice would be gratefully received as I’m not as tech savvy as my wife thinks I am. Thanks in advance.

Unless you're interested in used, you're pretty much looking at a motherbd, cpu, & ram upgrade as the FM2 socket is dead.

A low budget 2200G, B450 motherbd, and 16 Gb can be had for under $300 total.

Would I need to change my RAM too?
I have -
2X Samsung DDR3 1600mhz PC3-12800U DIMM 240Pin Unbuffered CL11 4gb
and 2x Cosair 1333mhz (according to my Bios) 4gb.

Yes,, current motherboards use DDR4 but you can get 16GB's for under $100 fairly common
