Hello Guys :)

I am looking to buy a budget gaming PC, This will be aimed at playing league of legends purely.

My current PC has problems I'm not to sure why but it keeps crashing my old PC has: 6x AMD, 16gb RAM, Nvidia 550ti. It crashes heavily, and has really bad fps jitters ie: 150+FPS to 20-40 FPS.

I'm currently looking to replace it spending no more than £500 and if its possible with credit over 2-3 years, My main concerns are cooling as I think my current PC has issues there. I have Windows and Two monitors already so I do not require them :) and I've been reading I dont think I need 16gb RAM either, a good 8gb seems better.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me, It would really help as I'm just a gamer not a techy :(

you don't need to splash out too much on a processor, the graphics card is what's important when it comes to gaming, I recommend an Nvidia GTX graphics card.

6x amd? As in, a Phenom II x6? That proccy series is still powerful by today's standards.

Give this fps limiter a shot: http://www.kegetys.fi/misc/

For the crashes, that deserves another thread. Could be your RAM/HDD is not inserted properly, conflicting/old drivers, too much dust, crummy airflow, relatively crummy HDDs in RAID, etc.

He has a Nvidia 550ti.

Like others have said. Concentrate on the crashing problem. Then once you have done that we can figure out the "bad fps jitters".
