Question Help resetting forgotten password for Fedora account ?

Hello so I wrote down my password but turns out it wasn't right so I need to reset it, I have searched and followed a few guides online to no avail. I go to theories grub boot loader, enter init =/bin/bash then f10 or Ctrl x then it loads to another grub terminal or gives an error.

If it loads to the terminal I'm supposed to remount the drive I enter. Mount -o remount ,rw / then reset the password passed username ,after that I type exit and then the system hangs every time so the password doesn't get changed. I'm not sure what to do to change the password so I need some help.
