Help resizing window on second display

I'm using a 50" TV as my second monitor. When I move a window (the chrome browser, for example) from my primary monitor to the TV, I would like that window to reduce in size so it only takes up half the screen instead of the whole screen, as the TV is already big.

Any ideas?

When I was using a TV as my main monitor and a much smaller screen for the second screen this worked for me;

Go to your Desktop -> Right Click -> Screen Resolution.

Now you should see numbers 1 and 2.

Click on 2, and make sure resolution is set to highest it can go.

Then when you drag a window from your 1st monitor to your 2nd it should automatically adjust the size to fit resolution.
