Help selecting parts for Building First Gaming PC

first and most important thanks for clicking this thread.

I am currently in the proces of finding parts parts to build my gaming computer with,
I have a budget of 700-800-900 euros

I would like to have : 8 RAM , 1 Terrabyte SSD or HDD and a DVD/CD drive
also a motherboard that has place for 2 video cards and place for later upgrading

so this is basicly my first build what i want to do with it is gaming , editing , watching videos and movies (streaming and dvd) and occasionally hosting a server and recording.

I really need help picking the diffrent kind of parts and what manufacturers to use and what are the better ones what are the worse ones and knowing what they do and what choices i have


it would mean the world for me if someone would help me and walk me trough this !

I have a question tho , what is the diffrence between an intel i5 and and intel i7 processor
i know i7 is better but nothing elso

also could it be that the intel i5 4670 is better then the intel i7 3770
becouse it's a newer version ? sorry if i sound nooby .. i am xD

also I think the second build will be more expensive as i live in Belgium and pounds are higher than euros atm

btw not used to radeon :3 what is the diffrence with geforce ?

also if i was to go with the first build could i stick the samsung SH-224DB/RSB DVD/CD Writer in there ?

becouse in the first one there was no dvd/cd writer

also any diffrence between a gold or a bronze power supply ?

The i7 has a technology named "hyperthreading". This technology can divide one core to two. The i7 has 4 cores (the "real" core). With hyperthreading the total number of cores is 8 (4 "real" & "virtual" cores). If you are going to Do some editing, those 8 cores should benefit you.

And yes the i5 4570 better in single core performance by 7-10% but don't forget that the core i5 only have 4 core compared to the 8 cores of the i7.

As for the build 1 yes you can use the Samsung DVD drive. But the build that I published should be better for you because you are not only gaming.

Oh I forgot, Radeon are the graphics card that AMD make, Geforce Are the graphics card that Nvidia make. In general, nvidia cards have SLIGHTLY better performance than AMD cards but AMD have the best price/performance ratio.

yeah don't forget the one you had was in pounds they translate more expensive into euros
also i think i kinda want to stick with the geforce aka nvidia mainly becouse most people i know recommend those
also do you think it would be worth taking the GeForce Gtx 750 instead of the GeForce GTX 760
becoue the 750 is 100 euro cheaper

Gtx 750 is not so good for gaming. Okay it can play most games but not at high settings. The GTX 760 is ways better. I will post the build. It is more affordable now

so i basicly looked at all of them and smashed soemthing together here it is

also the last things i need now are My sound card and network adapter
for sound card i just need a regular one that is decent prize/quality
for networks adapters i would like to have Lan and wirreless as i still need to make a hole
for my lan to go trough and that might take a while. (what do you guys recommend to use as a wirelles adapter and lan adapter ?)

also i don't know if i need any extra fan's ?
also how does the cpu fan selected fit onto the cpu ?
like with screws or with a click mechanism?

also is there a diffrence between the

and the

exept the 3 GB diffrence , also i choose the samsung one becouse i trust samsung more .

There is no difference between the 2 ram kits.
