Hello guys, Shekhar here!!
Please help me selecting a better graphic card for my PC. under Budget 100$-120$ !!
Wanna play games like...Battlefield3,Call of duty..black ops...crysis2..much in high graphics detail.!!

My PC SPecs:
Cpu-Core i5 2500k 3.3Ghz
Ram- 4GB kingston 1333Mhz
mobo DH61WW intel
Hard disk - 150 GB seagate
windows 7
monitor resolution...1360 x 768...1080p HD
Power supply intex 450 W

PLease suggest me which shud i go for..!!

monitors resolution? psu make and model? HDD make and model? Honestly for 1080p your budget is pretty low but if your willing to play on medium/low settings at that res then you might be able to get away with that low of a budget but you need to list some more detailed info if you want a proper recommendation

power supply is not a problem...i have 450w

Lets try this again...

make and model of psu?

make and model of HDD? 150GB? just sounds sketch

monitors resolution?

a crappy 450w psu will not suffice, however a quality 350w will

Toms ran a 6850 and an oc'ed quad on the antec earthwatts 380w psu for example with room to spare... and the 6850s requirements are even more so than a 5770 (6770)

unless of course if you already have a quality psu but without the make and model there is uncertainty...

you need to provide this info or I cannot recommend anything to you

lol 13X7 is basically 720p

1080p is 1920X1080

720p is generally 1360X768 or 1280X720

but for 720p you may not need a beast of a graphics card I have a 720p backup gaming rig that runs with a 5770 and does just fine imo

If you want 1080p then you will have to get a new monitor because your current monitor supports a 1366x768 whatever resolution and 1080p is 1920x1080. Personally your budget is the biggest factor. Remember that if you buy a new monitor, the increased resolution will call for a better graphics card which will in turn call for a better power supply. Personally if your heart set on the high settings- forget the 1920x1080 monitor, make sure you have a good power supply (tell us the make and model number which will be somewhere on the PSU) and then go out and buy one of the cards suggested by the other people on this forum. Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3 will be the hardest games to run (depending on if you get the DX11 patch and high resolution textures for Crysis 2) and will require some serious bucks to play on the highest settings @ 1080p.

Good Luck!
