Hey guys, so I need help setting up audio on my pc.

I want to be able to set up my Behringer MS16 speakers which are arriving in a few days, while also allowing me to use Philips SPH9500's headset (Vmoda BoomPro Mic) at the same time.

Here's a link to my mobo's I/O, for visuals. Also included a link for the VModa boom pro mic for visual as well. My current speaker wire is just a simple 3.5mm jack

Currently, the VModa spliter occupies the Front Audio(Green) and Microphone Jack(Pink). I've tried numerous times to have both my current logitech speakers and the audio for headset plugged in simultaneously, but ended up having to unplug one or the other from Front Audio jack when i want to use either.

Solution
windows only allows one default audio device. in other words, one audio output at a time.

using either A or B is easy (switching) by either having both connected and using windows to switch or having an A/B switching device.

if you need to use both at once things are a bit more tricky. generally the solution lies in using virtual-audio-cable or similar software.
