Question Help setting up multiple monitors for gaming and multi-tasking

Hi, I'm setting up multiple monitors (3) for the first time. I read an article that said you should try to get the same monitor for all three, or at least three monitors that have the same capabilities, otherwise your game might look weird with monitors with different capabilities. I will not be gaming on all three monitors. I will game on one monitor, and use the other two for multi-tasking. That being the case, how important is it that the monitor capabilities (or the monitors themselves) are identical?

Nah, I am gaming on a 144 hz monitor while watching stuff on a 75 hz IPS screen. Just get a high hz for gaming and anything you like for the other two.

i would at least try to get all the same size monitors so you are not messing with multiple resolutions. refresh rate doesn't matter in that case

Thanks for the input. I have a nice Asus 27" 144Hz gaming monitor. Need to pick up two more, but I'd like to save a few bucks if I can.
