Help! Sims 3 Crashing!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay so the other day I purchased Sims 3 because it look really fun. Now, I am having a huge problem and I am unsure of what is causing the error.

Whenever I play Sims 3, after a short amount of time it will turn black, make a loud beeeping noise consistently and will say "Sims 3 has stopped working. WIndows is looking for a solution" IK it isn't the DEP because I tried that fix...at least i think i did it right. Any thoughts?

Try playing it in window mode.its likely to be the game compatibility problem.

Well I have Start 8 and Modern Mix installed because i HATE windows 8 so it has been technically running in windows mode. :/ Any other advice?

I would recommend going back to 7.sims 3 have lots of problem on windows 8 and still.waiting.for.patch.i have to play in on my desktop since my laptop is also windows 8 and the game just crashes.not only you facing this problem.

Sims 3 is just, in general, a bucket of unfortunate when it comes to running properly.

Try disabling most of the extra graphical options, see if that might help. I know the game has serious issues with anti-aliasing, amongst others.

Played it on.win 7 with everything max and not even 1 crash.its just crashes on 8.

Try with everything not-maxed/disabled.
