Hello everyone, so I'm quite inexperienced regarding PC building, therefore I've decided to ask some pros for advice.

I'm thinking about building PC for Rendering that would be based on Nvidia Iray in 3d Maxx.
I don't need any fancy cases, and good looking parts, I only care about performance.

Regarding GPU I was thinking about getting used GTX TITAN X 12GB, as prices are comparable to new graphic cards with worse specifications, however I'm open for your advices

It would be good if the PC would work not too loud, and have some space for future improvements.

Thank you for all advices.

I'm assuming you mean one of the older Titans either way this thing's clock speed makes up for the lack of a few resources.

Solution
Thank you for advice. Do you think Ryzen 7 1800x would be better alternative to 1700, as I read article saying that 1700 is comparable to both 1800x and 1700x.
I read that AMD 1700 comes with a fan, should I disregard it and mount the suggested one, or just try to put both of them in ?
The operating system can be disregarded.

Would it be a big difference between M2. SSD and Normal SSD,
I was thinking about taking 3k mhz ram, as I heard it would be much faster.

After some changes I've got something like this, what do you think about price/perfomance ratio ?

Every 1700 I've seen easily hits 3.8 on all cores with an oc which outruns a stock 1800x most 1800xs hit 4.0 with a really good cooler. Which isn't a drastic difference. I choose the flare kit because they will 100% work with ryzen. If you want 3k ram I suggest gskill tridents with Samsung bdie chips those seem to be the most common ram to actually hit 3k

Hm Then 1700 sounds like better choice especially when1700 is for 320 and x1800 for 500.

In the part list it says :
The Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Asus PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard.
Do you think these would be fine ? https://www.amazon.com/noctua-NM-I115X-Noctua-NM-i115x-Mounting/dp/B00BLS3YYO
Made some changes.
If there are people with other builds, feel free to write here I'm going to get it after some time.
