I have a gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 motherboard, an AMD A12 9800 apu(had Radeon r7 graphics), 8gb of ram and 1 tb hard drive and a 500w psu (it’s kind of a lot for what I need, I know) I ordered a used MSI Radeon Rx 460 2gb of edition and hooked it up. Before I hooked it up I removed the display drivers. After, I downloaded the drivers for the new GPU and the fans would spin and everything, but I had to hook up my hdmi cable to that instead of my mobo. The and software is not recognizing my GPU and isn’t even recognizing my APU!!! Please help!!

petergarrett04 You state that the AMD software is not recognizing the RX 460. But you do have a screen image when the monitor is connected to your GPU by HDMI cable, right? If you were to play a game right now, are you getting faster performance than when only using the APU?

specs: A12-9800 APU / 8 GB DDR4 / 1TB HDD / GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3 / 500 watt PSU
