Hi, I've just bought a pc with a PNY 1060 XLR8 OC. I wanted a GPU with DVI, but this graphic card came with only dp ports. So the seller gives me the chance to switch to a Zotac 1060, but I would have to change the card by myself. I'm not a geek so I have watched some tutorials in youtube. Basically I have to remove the screws from the graphics card, unplugged it from PSU. And do the same but in reverse way when I want to install a new card.
But my question is: I think I have an 8-pin connected to the actual PNY 1060. The Zotac will have the same connection? Do I have to plug it and that's it? Or it will have a different way to connect to the PSU? See, I'm kinda worried about this, cause as I said I'm not a geek and dont want being messing up with my PC. So I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
BTW, I have a MSI B450 pro m2, and a mc hummer , dont know if that counts
