HELP This Must Be PSU right?

I have a homebuilt HTPC, Geleron G540, Biostar H77MU3, Apex DM387 case with stock PSU. Computer powers on, case lights turn on and fans spin but computer does not finish POST or begin boot process. TV receives no signal.

I have tried resetting CMOS, new memory, new CPU, and new motherboard. Still nothing.

I thought because it powered on that PSU was unlikely, but now by process of elimination it would have to be PSU. Is it possible that bad PSU could cause this even though power comes on? I have read some complaints about PSU failure.

Are you sure that it isn't finishing the POST? You could have a bad GPU.

Thanks for the reply. I am not hearing any beeps. I do not have a GPU, just using the built in graphics in the CPU.

Sounds like bad PSU , sorry, might see if you can borrow one from somebody, if things power up that will confirm it's bad

Thanks. I will get on the phone and see if I can get a new one under warranty. I guess it's the last thing to try. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't wasting my time. Thanks.

If anyone is searching for this symptom, it was indeed the PSU. I got a new PSU and the same motherboard, CPU, and memory are running perfectly.
