[SOLVED] Help, trying to overclock a recent ram

Hi, I have a really recent memory module; the Patriot Viper 4 Blackout DRR4 8gb (2 x 4) and I am trying to overclock with the help of DRAM calculator for Ryzen and Thaiphoon Burner. While I was at it, I was watching a tutorial by Hardware Unboxed, but during the part in Thaiphoon burner I was trying to get the die density which says 4 Gb / 1 die and doesn't say anything else such as what type it is (b -die, a-type). Hi, Im back. Here's the safe settings https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img921/5455/4O91Pg.png ; but couldn't get the fast one as it's "Coming Soon". I did export the complete HTML report for XMP, and I'll assume that it's a Micron B-die instead of a samsung b-die because the manufacturer is SpekTek
It looks like only the sub timings were tightened. I doubt you will see any real performance difference though since it's still using the same timings as advertised. If there is no change in fps in games or real world performance but you get crashes or BSOD, you could just run all sub timings on auto after setting cl16-18-18-36 1.35v.

I would say just select B-die, even if it's not B-die and take a screenshot of both the safe and fast settings.

What you should also do is export your module information in Thaiphoon after making sure scroll to the bottom of the export page and change it to nanoseconds. Import that to Ryzen Memory Calculator and try that.
