Help Understaing Hardware Montior readings

Solution

I agree with that assessment, and with the temps in that range, it's nothing to worry about. Just an anomalous reading, most likely.
There's no way that's right. It's almost like it's reporting total system wattage. To check, I just did a quick run in Prime with my 2500K at 4.5 and 1.277V load voltage, and it never got past 94.1W.

Even at the max voltage you have listed in the monitor, I can't see how that could ever possibly be right. The CPU shouldn't even be ABLE to draw that much wattage (I will even go so far as to say it CAN'T).

Yeah, maybe a Mobo (or even chip) ssensor is having a bad day there,
I'd continue monitoring things, use different software side by side to highlight variances,
Cpu-z
Hwm
Coretemp
Realtemp
and you will see each one displays slightly different reports, one may match the bios display :)
a Killawatt at the wall socket will be a good indicator of the power draw, even if Pc sensors are being off,
**Edit, just noticed Decibel got B.a. for agreeing with my response lol :)**
