Question Help undervolting Ryzen 7 5700x3d

Hi everyone, I recently bought and installed a ryzen 7 5700X3D in my computer, before it I had a ryzen 5 4600g. Before upgrading the cpu, temps would be around 40~ idle and around 65~ in games, now with the 5700x3d it idles at around 53-60 and when in games it reaches 80~, and these temperatures make me a little uncomfortable.
Many undervolting videos have appeared on my youtube but im scared to change voltage because I don't want to mess something up and make my pc not boot or damage the cpu, most I have done in BIOS is enabling XMP. Some people change settings in their BIOS and some use a program called PBO2 Tuner.

I also tried changing the core curve values to -30 using PBO2 Tuner but it didn't seem to do much.

I saw in some videos that people change the "VCore" values to -0.05 and -0.1, is that the setting that makes temps go lower??

Im new with undervolting/overclocking sorry if this is dumb.

Be careful with x3D chips, they don't react same. Lowering voltages does lower temps too but too much can lead to instability and/or lower performance. 3D cache is more sensitive than "normal" cache.
Which cooler do you have? Upgrading cooler can do more good than any undervolt.

I’ve been undervolting my 5700X3D using PBO Tuner, setting all cores to -30 since a -50 offset doesn't offer much benefit. This adjustment results in approximately a 10-degree temperature reduction and a 15W decrease in power consumption during multicore tasks. Interestingly, it reduces the voltage from 1.2V to around 1.14V under load, as indicated by OCCT. Additionally, I noticed that if I put my PC into sleep mode, wake it up, and apply the negative offset again, the voltage further drops to 1.09 - 1.1V. This leads to a power reduction of 20-25W and a temperature drop of 13 degrees Celsius.

In games, it doesn’t go higher than 75 degrees. Previously, I had a Ryzen 2400G, and after upgrading I also thought the idle temperatures were high. It draws around 30-40W at idle, and the temperatures are 40-50 degrees while surfing the net. Most of that draw comes from very high default SOC voltage which I changed from 1.2V to 1.1V. I don't think it made much difference. It's worth noting that my PC case isn't the best when it comes to cooling and airflow, which might contribute to some of the temperature readings.

Could this indicate an issue with your testing methodology? Do you conduct multicore testing, and for how long? Don't you see any difference in before/after results?
