hi i installed genome after i installed ubuntu alongside my current windows 8. I now cannot boot into windows 8 and the grub gnu menu states that it cannot load the image. I am very sure that i have them dual booted. So I wanted to Either uninstall Ubuntu or uninstall genome and reinstall Ubuntu. The rest of my grub is working. I have my computer set up with a 80 gb partition for ubuntu and a 920 gb partition for windows. Also now that i installed genome i cannot exactly boot into ubuntu. So my guess on how to do this is either go back to only windows 8 or get back to being able to dual boot stock ubuntu without the genome. When i click the windows boot manager option in the ubuntu grub menu, i recieve the message
file path..... PCI(2,1f)/sata (0,0,0)........... cannot be loaded

In my bio my settings are :
UEFI boot: ubuntu windows boot manager, onboard nic ipv4, and onboard nic ipv6.
I also have secure boot enabled and Load legacy option rom disabled

I don't really have much to work with and am not that good or accustomed to linux so i might need more detailed steps.

Just to note i am on the latest stable ubuntu.

Anyhelp to boot back into windows 8.1 or getting back to a stable ubuntu that i could then use to boot into windows 8 would be appreciated

Did your computer come preinstalled with Windows 8 or 8.1?
