Help updating motherboard BIOS

Hello, my motherboard is MSI B85M-P33 and on the version 4.2, while the newest BIOS version is 4.9. Now if I want to update it, do I have to flash it in order, like go 4.2>4.3>4.3>etc>4.9, or can I go straight for 4.2>4.9? Reason I want to update it is cause I am getting a i7 4790 and it is supported on 4.6, and on the latest 4.9 there is improved support for AMD graphics cards, I have a RX 480

You can flash straight to the latest BIOS... you don't need to incrementally update through every version.

Not possible to do that unfortunately.
If you don't power the system off during the BIOS flash nothing should go wrong.
