Hi all. Trying to upgrade my bios. TBH i dont even know what version i have but i imagine its not the latest.

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4884#bios is the bios.

the instructions state and i understand step 1 - change to silent mode and turn on the computer

Next step says Run VGA @BIOS

What does this mean? This is the part i dont understand. :??:
Ive updated my mobo bios but all i had to do was put a disc in. Never had to "Run" anything via commands?
Thanks for any help.

Well first of all make sure which VBIOS version your GPU has before trying to update it, website states some versions can only by updated to certain versions.

The steps for VGA@BIOS is for using Gigabyte's "VGA@BIOS" utility, you have to download it, their pdf guide shows it all with pictures and such, very easy to understand so check it again.

Ah see didnt realize there was a program. It didnt state in directions you needed to download a program.

My default bios on cars said f11 so im assuming I download the f11 - f19 bios?

it states

Please note:
You can only update to a VBIOS version of the same series.
If your VBIOS version is:
F1, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F2-F9.
F10, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F11-F19.
F20, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F21-F29.

But my cards bios version was F11. So im assuming i update with the f12 version since its inbetween f10-f19?
