Help: Upgrade Wifi Card for Laptop

Hey all!

I have the Lenovo y410p, and it seems as if the wifi card is pretty bad. It keeps disconnecting every 15 min or so and it takes a few seconds to reconnect. I've updated the drivers, and it doesn't seem to help.

So can I upgrade my wifi card, and if so, what are some suggestions you have? Remember, this is a laptop, not a desktop!

First off, we'd need to know the model of the card in it, to see what antenna connections it has. I'm guessing it's a half-length mPCIe card.

No issues, and yes it is.

An internal one could be swapped out if you know how to take the thing apart to replace it, you'd want a mini PCI one. But the issue may be the antenna setup as well, which is a lot harder to replace.
