Hey I'm looking to upgrading parts for my computer and need help in choosing the best upgrades.

The reason I'm doing this is sometimes during gameplay (like Guild Wars 2) occasionally the screen will go black and then return to normal. Some youtube videos in the background will have a green screen on them if the black screen goes away.Only rarely does the computer freeze with audio loud and stuck or restarts.
Also, having multiple tabs open and videos isn't as smooth as it use to be. Twitch videos and youtube stuff. Kinda slower.

Got my computer from CyberPowerPC in 2012. I'll post my specs and can also upload the reliability center hardware error that I don't know how to interpret.

Here's the Specs:

I no longer have the AMD gpu and have EVGA Geforce GTX 970SSC. I also added a SoundBlaster audio card too.

Thoughts? I'm sure I'm due for a power supply upgrade and maybe cpu and motherboard as well. Could the hard drive be causing this black screen too? Hopefully it's not the GPU.

Thank you to all who reply.

There's a few things I would try before complete overhaul... Take a can of compressed air to internals, reinstall graphics drivers or better yet Windows. Some of the slow downs you mention can be caused by OS over time. Nothing yet directly points to hardware failure. The YouTube issue is probably graphics related, but could be a driver issue. If you really want to upgrade, you will need a new platform (Motherboard, DDR4 RAM, CPU, and probably heatsink).

This did seem to help, gave it a thorough dusting and it seems better, only time will tell if the black screen thing pops again while playing games.
