Question Help Upgrading CPU

I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 1700 paired with a GTX 1070ti with my system. In the near future I want to explore streaming down the road, what CPU should I upgrade to so I can stream smoothly?

You can stream with that setup without any problem, with CPU x264 (2 cores and 4 threads are enough for it, you can assign that in OBS advanced menu) or Nvec.
Just depends how good is your internet with download and upload.
Cause if you're too close with upload vs the max speed of it, you will get lags, because your internet acts as ping pong.
