Hello there. As may you have figured out from the name of this thread's title, Im looking to upgrade my PC's GPU. For those who are wondering, right now I have a nvidia GT 610 and that I'm planning to use the PC for gaming.

Originally, my brother recommended me to upgrade to a AMD Radeon R9 270X but then a friend recommended to either get a AMD Radeon R7 260X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti since my AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core CPU would bottleneck it. And now I'm here asking you guys to find out which GPU will perform best on my PC.

Here are my PC specs that I think is needed for buying a GPU:
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core (3.8 GHz)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (has 1 PCI-E 2.0)
PSU: allied sl-8320btx says on the side 265w but online 300w (Im expecting to replace this along with the GPU)
Monitor resolution: 1600x900
Not sure this makes much of a difference but I bought the PC on BestBuy so I may or may not know everything single thing about it.

Thank you for reading.

its a matter of price/performance. you can get the r9-270x for like 150. you'll not beat that price/performance at any level above or bellow it. the droppoff in performance is far more then the drop in price mostly. that said. if you can find a r7-265 for $100 or a r9-270 for 120, those will be great deals and probably better matches with your cpu.

What GPU would you suggest if I didn't overclock my CPU? I really don't want to risk damaging my hardware by doing so.
