I was wondering if anyone could help me decide what graphics card to upgrade to. I would like to stay around 300 dollars, and I also prefer AMD just because I am more familiar with the brand. I currently use an r9 270x. I was wondering if the 290 or 390 specifically is a good choice for a card within my price range. I would also like to confirm that a 600w power supply will be enough for the card. I'm open to an Nvidia card, but if this is the superior option could you please give a performance comparison to my current card? Sorry that I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for the help.

The card needs to be compatible with these parts: NZXT Source 210 Mid-tower case, ASRock z97 Fatal1ty killer mobo, Intel i5-4590 cpu, Cryorig H7 cpu cooler, 8 gb ram Gskill ripjaws, and 600w power supply.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm unfortunately too hyped to play overwatch to wait. Any card that you would recommend for right now?

This looks like a really good choice. How much of a performance upgrade do you think it would be?

Why would that power supply be incompatible? I don't have that specific one, but I would like to know in case mine has the same issue.

It's not that the PSU is not compatible with your card. The Corsair CX series is a tier 4 power supply, it is made with bad quality materials. I would suggest that you chose a new PSU that is listed as Tier 1 or Tier 2 in the PSU tier list below:
