That is my system above. All I have changed is put an 8gb ddr3 ram stick, a 600w psu, switched out stock hdd and put in 2 toshiba 3tb hdds, and an amd r9 380x 4gb gpu.

It has become time to upgrade my cpu and motherboard. I want to switch my processor from my amd fx 6200 to intel, as I am seeing intel cpus whooping amd ones.

So, I have a budget of 300-350 US at the most. I dont really want to have to upgrade all my ram sticks, and I think i5 processors utilize ddr3 mobos, right?

So, what i5 or i7 and a matching mobo could would you guys recommend within my range?

- the xeon is an i7 4790 , without the ocing feature and onboard graphics(you use your Gpu graphics anyways).

-what psu do u have otherwise ur pc might not last a year.
