Hello guys , I need some help upgrading my pc.

Processor : AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core
Processor 4.00 GHz
Package : Socket AM3+ (942)

Motherboard : 970 GAMING (MS-7693)

Memory : 8GB
DDR3 (CRUCIAL)

Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

My pc has been underperforming as of late , that's why I think some upgrades are in order.

My budget is around 500 euros.

P.S : I'm a total noob at this.

Thanks a lot!

Solution
500 Euros is not enough. For all the upgrades you need. Can you go any higher? 500 Euros will only provide a minor upgrade. One which is hardly worth mentioning. Consider that you can sell off the parts you replace on eBay and reclaim a couple hundered euros.

Even this build would be pretty minor. The CPU is a big improvement. However, the GPU is only two steps higher in the hierarchy.

Solution
If your power supply is as old as the 6 year old processor then I would replace it also.

Then upgrade the video card next when you can afford to.

Alright I also forgot to mention my Cooler Master Hyper 103, and 650 watt power supply (corsair).

This might be a stupid question but if I buy the cpu I also have to upgrade the memory and motherboard to make it compatible right?

Thanks!
