Question Help urgent plz

Hey so my new pc I built was doing ok I was trying to figure out how to boot it up and I think I set my ssd to boot up with and then I restarted my pc and now the computer still turns on but has no display I think I put it in to safe boot as well but I’m certain everything is in place correctly and it is powered my parts are

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x
Ram: Corsair rgb 3000mhz ram
Mb: ASRock b450m steel legend
Storage: Intel ssd 1tb
Gpu: Gtx 1050 ti 4gb
And a 550w power source

Just to double check, it was working fine and you set it to safe boot (when you say safe boot do you mean windows safe mode or something else) and now the screen is just blank when you turn on the pc?

I mean like somethingg else and yeah everything was fine and now it’s all black

Try connecting it to your monitor via the hdmi on motherboard. It may have randomly defaulted to intergrated graphics while a driver was updating. That happened to me once. If it was that you should be able to tell it to use your gpu in the bios.

The original poster can't switch to integrated graphics because he doesn't have integrated graphics.

Since you can't see anything, I'd try other ports on the GPU if they're available to you. If not, this should be treated as a no POST situation. We have a sticky that goes step-by-step.

I completely unplugged my psu then removed the battery from the motherboard for about 15 minutes and that reset is to allow me to re configure my settings without the black display

The only problem I have right now is setting up my pc with my ssd and no cd rom on the bios

Why do you think you need CD drive in the BIOS settings to set up an SSD?

No idea I just need to run it and install windows but i don’t know how
