I need help using AMD overdrive as I am confused. What is NB VID, and should I change it? Why is my HyperTransport Link Speed at 0mhz? And why is my PCIE speed at 0mhz. I just want to lower my voltage to 1.35 V. How do I go about doing this in AMD overdrive?

I wouldn't use any software to play around with CPU overclocking or any voltage regulating. Go into your BIOS and change it there. It should be something like CPU VCore (check with your motherboard as we don't know what your motherboard is.)

I seem to be in a similar situation like this guy and I also have the same motherboard and cpu as him: http://

Is it still okay to use AMD Overdrive?

I would still go with changing the voltage in the BIOS since it's more accurate and it some doesn't work. You can easily revert it back. AMD Overdrive could cause problems that we don't know. Back when I was less tech savvy, I tried AMD Overdrive it wasn't very good for overclocking or playing around with that stuff as it caused my games to not run properly and instability.

I can only increase voltage on BIOS, not decrease. If I am going to be using AMD Overdrive, what should I do for the NB VID?

What should I do about the NB VID on AMD overdrive, I see that my current NB VID is running at 1.2250V, but AMD is setting target at 1.1625V, I just want to lower my CPU VID to 1.35V. Do I leave the NB VID slider alone and go ahead and change my CPU VID or do I have to modify my NB VID and change CPU VID?
