Solution

What do you mean about I won't get the performance of your graphics card.

What do you mean about I won't get the performance of your graphics card.

The motherboard VGA port is NOT connected to your graphics card. It is connected to the graphics subsystem on your CPU. The ONLY way to get the benefit of your 1050ti is to use the ports on the 1050ti. To do that you have to have an adapter as I said in a previous post.

Correct, if you use the motherboard VGA port you are NOT using the graphics card. Your FPS will be limited by the build-in GPU on your CPU.
To use the graphics card, you either have to have a different display (monitor or TV) or buy an ACTIVE adapter.

Yes. A non-active adapter is just a cable and uses the analog output pins on the DVI port -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface See the 4 pins with the plus sign between them? Those have analog (VGA) signal on them. Notice the DVI connector on YOUR graphics card. Those holes are missing. You have to have an active (powered) digital to analog converter to create the analog signals that your monitor requires.

this is a 1050ti

the black connector is a dvi port that can use a dvi to vga adapter

so there is 1050ti with analog, sort of ports

Your picture shows a DVI-D port. Zoom in. There are NO analog pins on that DVI port. You are not correct. I have not seen of a 10xx series card with analog outputs.

you know you are right? i need my glasses to look at a 700px width image now :/

knowing that the active adapter is required, is better to get a displayport to vga one than a hdmi to vga

the hdmi to vga is cheaper most times but is not a good thing, displayport is on the other hand, alot better
