Help wanted - XP and Nikon software install

I have a Nikon Coolpix 2100 and have used the NikonView software with
Windows 98SE without trouble.

I have a new computer with Windows XP and cannot get XP to recognise
the NikonView drivers. The software reports that it has installed OK
but when I attach the camera to the USB port there is no response and
the camera freezes up. I have to remove the batteries after
disconnecting to restart the camera.

Any ideas from anyone?

I would suggest going to Nikon's site and download the latest drivers for your
OS. Should help.
