I am looking for a gaming headset, with a good mic.
I am stuck between the Logitech
https://www.amazon.com/LOGITECH-G430-DTS-Headphone-981-000536/dp/B00CQ35C1Q/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

and the artemis

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Artemis-Spectrum-Surround-Headset/dp/B013P0K8OE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481615260&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+artemis

both look good, howver I am on a budget, $75 is a bit much, but if it a spectacular deal I will take it. The mic is for talking to people in vc no recording, how does the g430 vs the artemis do for that, is there a major sound quality difference, what about durability, is there another headset in the same price range that is just as good?

I don't know much about the G633, but I know that the G430 has a pretty good mic as it is noise cancelling and has a built-in noise gate. Although I've heard they are not that durable and can break if you have a big head. The G633 is RBG which means you will be paying a lot extra for lights that you won't even be looking at when using them.
neither, I think a pair of iphone earbuds will give you better sound fidelity then those. If your heart is set on them, I'd go with the one that doesn't light up. over ear headphones are hot enough to wear, putting lights on it will only make them hotter and sillier to wear.
