Exactly as the title says. What manufacturer makes the most reliable external RAID level 1 Arrays? Looking around on Ebay and Amazon, I see a lot of manufacturers for external RAID Arrays. Who would make the most reliable ones?

[quotemsg=13486173,0,930500]RAID reliability usually comes down to just the drives; the controllers aren't usually hugely different.

Please don't dump massive numbers of tags on threads.[/quotemsg]

Oh okay thanks. I don't feel like spending $500 on a RAID Array! :D

And sorry about the tags. I thought that you were supposed to put a lot so that people will notice your thread, sorry.

Yep. the major differentiating points between controllers is going to be the performance and secondary features, not reliability.

Ah, so basically, any brand (cheap) should work just fine? I mean like $50 or less.
