Hey all! I need some help. I'm aware of how to factory reset in Windows 8- go to settings, general, and then there's options with buttons underneath labeled "get started"- however, when I go to click it for a full factory reset, all files wiped and all, my mouse simply turns into the classic circular "loading" symbol for like .5 seconds, and doesn't give me a prompt to continue on with the process of factory resetting my computer.
I DO have malware/possible virus on my computer, which is why I want to factory reset in the first place. I managed to clear most of it up with Malwarebytes and get rid of the pop-ups and such yesterday, however despite the few hours window I had of assuming it terminated, Windows notified me of malware once again. The malware, I'm assuming, wouldn't let me open Malwarebytes after that.
I have a Dell laptop, with the BIOS password enabled to have me type in a password before allowing my computer to start up with Windows.
