HELP: Windows Gallery Error "Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video..."

Don't know if anyone here can help me with this but here it goes:

Every single picture on my laptop (Windows 7) hes somehow become corrupted. Windows gallery cant view/preview them, I can't open them in any application/software. I get the error "Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video. The file may be unsupported, damaged or corrupted."

I urgently need to solve this, my photos are very valuable to me since I run a design agency and I also have thousands of family pictures in my laptop.

From the sound of things you don't have backups. Which is odd since you run a business using those images, setup a backup ASAP. The major issue with backups is that most people don't bother with them till it's too late to matter.

Try viewing the files on a different computer. Are they the right sizes? See if there is a restore point in Windows you can go back to from before the issue started.
