Help with 21:9 monitor with ps4

Hi, i just got a new LG 21:9 ultrawide monitor and when i use it for my ps4 the screen is stretched on wide mode, the best i can get it to is cinema 2 but i've seen people on the internet get it working perfectly, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know, thanks.
