Help with 3 Monitor setup

I currently have 3 - 23" monitors running on 2 x nVidia GeForce 7600GT cards.
When I'm gaming i shut off my 2 side monitors and enable SLI on the middle one.

So now I'm looking to upgrade. My questions is, is there a better way to do this? I can either go 2 brand new GTS 250's in SLI and run the the exact same way.

OR

Buy 1 GTX260 for my main monitor, and just hang the 2 side monitors off of one of the current 7600GT cards. Which means I never use SLI.

Thoughts?

I am currently running 2x7600gt EVGA cards on 3x 17's monitors. I like it although i still have not been able to setup all three screens fully as one screen for gaming or video playing. i would say your second option my be better in quality but the two 7600's are working for me. Although i need help setting my system up. Good luck. Brooks Nelson
