Please see my last post for my optional builds
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: ASAP
Budget Range: 2000$ Canadian before taxes after rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, multi tasking (surfing net/listening to music while gaming), watching Netflix
Are you buying a monitor: Yes (need a new monitor)
Parts to Upgrade: Need complete newbuild unless i can salvage something....but my comps 10 years old and run its course. I guess only the case and or mouse might be salvagable (CM Haf922 case and Logitech G5 mouse)
Do you need to buy OS: Yes windows please
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon.ca, Newegg.Ca, www.canadacomputers.com
Location: Toronto Canada (Canada Computers and or private shops are the only ones around)
Parts Preferences:Intel or AMD CPU doesnt matter, prever NVIDIA Graphics
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: Based on the monitor you suggest
Additional Comments: Budget can flex a bit and go lower or slightly higher if worthwhile or need be. I could also use speakers and or a headset. I mainly play the following games:
Dota2
Starcraft 2
CS:GO and CS:Source
Battlefield Series's
Also do i need a CD Burner/writer/dvd player anymore? (is 1 required to install windows?)
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My computer is slowly falling apart. Random hiccups/freezes. Sometimes Dota2 runs smooth others it stalls on loadout etc. Getting slow to turn on etc.
It was a good build for its day
AMD Phenom II X4 965
2x 2gb Corsair Ram
XFX RAdeon 6850
HAF 922 case
XFX 850w Gold PSU
CM Hyper 212
