Help with a athlon 760k

im choosing to upgrade my processor to a 760k from an athlon 760k does anyone know if i will have to buy a new motherboard or if it will fit in the one i have now.

yes it will fit. they're both FM2+.

The A4 is non specific. There are both FM2 and FM2+ A4's.

The 760K is specific. It's an FM2 CPU, not an FM2+ CPU.

The 760K will work on your FM2 motherboard.
