Help with a new cpu mobo upgrade :)

Ive had my build for years now and i want to upgrade i have an i5 650 at 2.65ghz i believe or 2.35 and the rest of the hardware is from the same time frame pci 1st gen mobo 1333 ram ect i do however have a gtx 970 4gb gpu witch ill keep using until the gpu prices become better all i do is game on my pc thats it all and any games i playanything from starbound to the witcher to bf1 to age of empires so i want a setup minus gpu that will last a few years like this build and be overall a lot faster i can use my case fans poweraupply and hd until i jave extra cash to get a ssd. So basically i need ram mobo amd cpu that are future proof and overall faster then what i have now and a again primary focus is gaming future proof and my end goal ia flawless 1440p and like i said earlier my gpu will be upgraded at a later point just need a solid foundation to start with

B350 Mobo
16GB DDR4 3200MHz

B350 prime and ryzen 1600x or go for intel one
Z170 and i5 7600k or g4560,g4620 and since u cant oc clock it buy the cheapest mobi for g4xxx build and ram according to u budget cuz ram only impacts 2-3 fps in most games

^Z270 (not Z170) for i5-7600K, B250 for G4560/G4600. But 8th-gen Intel Coffee Lake should release next month. So there's that.

For gaming go Intel > Ryzen.
