Been looking to upgrade to a SFF build for a while now as I do move around quite often. Will be mainly for gaming. Memory, storage, and graphics card are all already owned, just looking for an idea of the compatability of these parts. Total for the remaining parts is about $1022 AUD ($735 USD)

PCPartPicker Part List
CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU COOLER- Phanteks Glacier One 240MP 60.51 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MOTHERBOARD- Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard
MEMORY- Kingston FURY Beast 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
STORAGE- Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
STORAGE- Samsung 870 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
STORAGE- Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GRAPHICS CARD- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card
CASE- Cooler Master MasterBox NR200 Mini ITX Desktop Case

Suggestions welcome but I am limited in choices as the Australian market is abysmal

It's your call as to what type of storage mix you want / need.
Not sure if I would want a smr type hdd.
I might consider dropping the hdd and bumping the qvo to 2TB.

Is there a psu in this mix?

Sorry, forgot to include PSU.
Looking at a Cooler Master V SFX Gold 750W.
Though I'm not too sure about that, it's mainly just a reference and if you have a suggestion for one better I'd be happy to hear it.

As for the storage, I agree it's not the best but it's what I have in my current system and if I find that it doesn't work too well I can easily change it later down the road.
I'm more worried about the motherboard, case and PSU.

Read the reviews for that psu.

Here's one.

That is the ATX version, this is for the SFX,

they don't do a complete teardown, but do have the equipment to do a serious review.

It will handle what parts you have nicely.

Not an Intel fanboy, but think this would be a better set of components,

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i5-12400 2.5 GHz 6-Core Processor ($287.77 @ JW Computers)
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($129.00 @ Mwave Australia)
Motherboard: ASRock B660M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1700 Motherboard ($280.81 @ Amazon Australia)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory ($97.77 @ JW Computers)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Samsung 870 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($169.67 @ Amazon Australia)

Is cheaper also.

The Arctic cooler is pretty thick so if you think you'll need a smaller cooler which will do the job nicely would i pick this,
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/YVhmP6/be-quiet-pure-loop-240-liquid-cpu-cooler-bw006
use it on a 9900K myself , although with different fans, the sound of the Be Quiet somehow were imo less nice to the ear than the Arctic P12's.

Think i also agree with above on the storage especially since you say it wil be moved around.

Something else, although even taking in all parts it's alot more to pay, is this,
https://www.mwave.com.au/product/co...with-850w-gold-psu-280-aio-cpu-cooler-ac47380
build and ready,.

Another thing, brain is abit slow 😁 if you want to stick to AMD just get this cpu,
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/PgcG3C/amd-ryzen-5-5600-36-ghz-6-core-processor-100-100000927box
is about the same performance and alot cheaper.

I'm partial to the Corsair SF Platinum. The Gold series uses ribbon cables that are somewhat stiff and harder to cable manage in a tight box. The Platinum cost a little more (it's mITX, everything costs a little more) but the cables are individually sheathed and far easier to deal with.

I'm pushing a full loop with 2x 240mm rads, 3700x and 2070 super on a SF 600 Platinum with zero issues and it's Quiet, never hear the psu as the efficiency level is high enough that there's little thermal waste to heat things up.

With sff it's not the big things that will trip you up and make your build fall flat on its face, it's the little things. Everything needs to be considered.

Is there a good reason to switch out the current memory with that G.Skill set?
If the current memory is fine with the rest of the build than I'd prefer to keep the memory I have just for cost savings

Take a look at the lian li TU-150 if you want portability.
It comes with a handle and is made of aluminum.
https://www.newegg.com/p/2AM-000Z-00050

As above, look at the I5-12400 processor.
It is comparable in gaming performance to the 5600x.
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-core-i5-12400-review
The 12400 comes with a cooler that you could try out.
If you want, the case allows 165mm so you can install most any cooler you want.
You probably do not need a top of the line noctua NH-D15s.

Cost saving according to pcpartpicker is $3 while you get DDR3 3600mhz in return so seems a good deal to me.

If you stick with AMD and, as i would, choose the 5600 (cheaper and roughly same performance) would i certainly get the 3600mhz ram which is of influence on the speed the Infinity Fabric can run.

Sorry I probably want clear enough there.
What I meant was the current memory I already own so I wouldn't have to buy it.
If the performance of buying that G.Skill set was significantly better I would consider it but if it doesn't change much then I'd rather stick with the memory I already have.

Ah sorry, i read over the part that you already have the ram, in that case are you fine, no need to upgrade.

You can set prices in the pcpartpicker to $0 if you already have a certain part, can click the little settings button right in front of the price to do so. I should have read better, but it helps as well. Like this,

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor ($326.70 @ Newegg Australia)
CPU Cooler: Phanteks Glacier One 240MP 60.51 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($199.00 @ Mwave Australia)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard ($279.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($0.00)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($0.00)
Storage: Samsung 870 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($0.00)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($0.00)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card ($0.00)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR200 Mini ITX Desktop Case ($89.00 @ PCByte)
Total: $893.70

Oh that's neat. Sorry, I don't use pcpartpicker that often, I usually just use it to get an idea of all the components I need.
Thanks for the help

Is an option too, it's as expensive as the Cooler Master,
is a gold btw, but that doesn't matter.
Yeah, Mines the Platinum version. There's slight differences in the paint job and definite differences in the cables, but intrinsically it's a tiny HX and the Gold is a tiny RMx.

When I signed up with Corsair, also got a 15% off sign up instant bonus.
