I very recently bought a new computer and as for right now the only storage it has is 240 gb sdd. I dont use a lot of storage, but I would prefer if I could upgrade it to atleast 240 more. I have tried doing a bit of research but I am struggeling to find out how I should do this. My questions are; is there any way to find out if there is even a place in the pc cabinet/case for my ssd without having to open up? As long as the ssd fits are all compatible to my case/motherboard? Does the cables I need to connect the ssd come with the ssd itself or do I have to puschase that on the side?

Motherboard: MSI B350 Tomahawk, Socket-AM4
Case:phanteks Eclipse P400

Thank you

Your motherboard has 4x sata 3 ports so you should be good there

And your case at least shipped with the hardware to hold 2 ssds

You would need to buy a sata cable to connect your drive to the motherboard as they usually don't ship with one
