Check out Amazon for books on AE.
I bought Creative After Effects 5.0 by Angie Taylor, although there are
others.
At least with a book, you can always keep it with you ;-)

I would also recommend "After Effects Bible". It's good as a tutorial
AND as a reference when you're done with it.
