Hello guys, I’m thinking about building a pc for games such as overwatch, diablo 3, path of exile, blade and soul and other online mmorpgs. The components in question are as follows :
Pentium G4560
ASUS H110M-K
Saphire RX 460 4GB
8GB of DDR4 Ram

I’m really confused whether each component is compatible with each other and figured I should ask for help. Also if you guys could possibly give me cheaper alternatives as I feel mmorpgs and games like the ones I’ll be playing aren’t as demanding graphically. Thanks in advance!

Really depends on the title and you'd need to look at benchmarks for titles you want to play; I'm not too familiar with the majority of those titles unfortunately.

I'd expect then to perform similarly enough when paired with a 460, but there may be specific titles that favour one or the other heavily.

Just picking a random benchmark video (at random).

Those results are paired with a 1060. With a 460, medium/high might be a stretch on all titles, but a solid medium average should be achievable

The Ryzen3 will benefit from OC'ing and faster ram though, which may make it marginally more expensive.... would be my pick though

They're compatible - at least in theory.

The H110 board likely needs a BIOS update to support the G4560 and, while the Pentium was a solid "bang for buck" option at launch, something like a Ryzen3 1200 might be a better option (for similar-ish money) for the long run.

@Barty1884
Thanks for your answer!
Question, how does the Ryzen 1200 perform in comparison to the G4560. I really don’t mind reducing hardware as long as I can play these games smoothly and at medium to high settings
