Question Help with broken headset

Good day,
The other day a coworker brought me her headsets (CoolBox coolCHAT U1 USB C/Mic Headset) , saying that they don't work anymore. When you plug them 3 beeps sound, and then a static sound start appearing, while Windows says that the device was not recognized.
I think is a hardware problem related to the headset, as it worked before in her computer, but now it doesn't in any.
Is worth the effort to tinker with this? It's a cheap headset, but even if I don't get to repair them I can learn something in the way. Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks,
V

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Looking at the cost of the headset, I see it's about 15 Euro's and USB driven. There's a version that's analog(3.5mm) and I'm suspecting that the USB driven soundcard inside the headset conked out.

Thanks for the welcome ^^

Okey, so I guess there is no chance to make them work. At least I can torn them apart to see how are made. Thanks for the reply!
