Please, please help. I have spent ~15 hours on this so far and I'm ready to pull my hair out. I just finished this new build (http://pcbuildsonabudget.com/best-gaming-pc-build-under-500-dollars-2016) I've uninstalled and reinstalled the motherboard four times. When it's outside of the case it will load with or without video card and likewise for memory. However, when I install into the case all fans will run and system will stay on but no change on display, so I'm thinking there's motherboard->case contact somewhere. Ok, sure, let's give that a go.

There's three stand-offs that came with packaging, but there's also several raised stand-offs built into motherboard. Looking at manual, it doesn't even address the stand-offs it came with, it just says install motherboard to case with screws, so I tried just attaching to raised points. No joy. I tried attaching with just stand-offs, no joy. Now I've noticed there's three depressed holes on motherboard tray along with raised points, however when I screwed a standoff into one of the depressed points and balanced motherboard against both points, it wasn't completely flush. Not un-doable, but with enough of a difference I wanted to get second opinions from people who've already successfully built a computer. If this is a must and why the computer isn't booting, does that mean every stand-off has to be successfully installed before motherboard will boot? I did also ensure I was using proper screws.

Also does anyone have any other suggestions? I checked all my cabling, and I doubt it's an issue if all components work breadboarding, I'm just completely baffled and I don't want to have to bite the bullet and end up taking it to Geek Squad(the only technical assistance around these parts) when I've come so far. It's so close it's driving me insane.

Solution
As far as I can see, you have to move the middle row of standoffs in the case down a row,
Then on the most bottom row, unscrew the 2 standoffs on the right side and mount single one so that it matches the bottom hole on the board.
Try measuring distances between holes on the board, then check on the case.

I tried that, but I also noticed that the built-in case standoffs use 3.55 HD screws whereas the screw-in standoffs will only fit the 2.55HD, I'm assuming just use what's appropriate? Both have a broad head.
