Solution
the evga superclocked black edition is a good after market card.

also the crucial mx300 275 gb is better value proposition. the hyper x 240gb ssd is also cheap n a good performer.

i would advise u to drop the h100i v2. s340 has 2 front intakes and a single rear exhaust along with top vents. using up the front for radiator leaves little airflow in ur case. get a good air cooler like the sythe mugen 5 or go for a cryorig r1 for top class performance.

an alternative case to consider would be the phanteks p400.
IMHO just swap the GTX 1070 for an aftermarket one instead of FE, unless you plan on buying water block for it.

Samsung 850 Pro is overkill, an EVO 850 is quite enough as they are both SATA3, they are limited by how fast SATA3 is. Nvme is the only way you can get better speed.

The thing about Samsung SSD is that after a couple of years they don't drop performance like the cheaper competitor, but they are significantly more expensive. Guess that's because they own the majority of the SSD market share.

Change out the WD Black and get Seagate 3.5" FireCuda SSHD its really fast and cheap,10 dollars US more than the black its has a spinning platter and an small SSD ,So you get the best of both worlds and get almost the performance of dedicated SSD ,Also that Power supply is way too big you won't even get close to 650 let alone 850 if you need overkill get a 700 and save some money personally I would go 650 or even 600 because all that 850 headroom costs money

If he wants his steam library on the Platter ,its worth 10 bucks for load times,Faster discs don't improve gaming performance at all so there is no issue with a blue or purple ,So your right he could save some money and a disc is a disc they rarely fail and the speed between non Hybrid platters is barely noticeable .

Yep EVO is well fast enough unless you work for a CGI movie design studio ,the Military or NASA
