Hi, as the title said, I'm currently looking to build a new gaming system since my old one is kind of outdated and I would like some advice on it. Price range is about $2000. Got some things set-up on a Dutch website atm but I don't mind getting stuff from abroad aslong as the delivery isn't too insane to the Netherlands and that they deliver the system assembled and well because I'm not that much of a computer genius. I'm currently looking at the following:
Proccesor: INTEL Core2Duo E8600 (S775 - 1333MHz - 2x3 MB)3,33
PSU: Corsair TX 750watt
Motherboard: ASUS P6T (iX58 - S1366)
Memory: PC3-10666 - 2 GBx2 - DDR3 - OCZ Gold XTC 2K C7
Graphics card: 2x Asus ENGTX260/HTDI - 896 GB - PCIe - TV+2xDVI
Hard disk: Hitachi 1 TB 7K1000.B 1010SLA360 (SATA300 - 16 MB)
Sound card: Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium Gaming - PCIe
This is the core really, need to fit a DVD RW drive and a normal DVD drive in there but they don't cost anything anyway.
I don't need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers or anything like that.
I'm going to be using this system mostly for high performance gaming at 1920x1080 resolution. I need advice on most of the parts really because my knowledge isn't that great, but mostly my problems are the processor and motherboard. Didn't know if the new i7 intel processors are worth is for just gaming purposes and I don't really know anything about motherboards.
I'm not looking to overclock the pc either because like I said, I'm not that much of a computer genius so I won't take the risk of trying to overclock without the knowledge and screwing it all up.
Hopefully you guys can give me some good advice, thanks in advance.
