I'm a complete noob at picking computer components and I need help with choosing parts that go with the Intel i3570K and the GeForce GTX 770.

If possible, I'd like to keep it at maximum $1000.

Thank you for the build. :)
I'll look in to it and read up some stuff.

EDIT: I don't plan on overclocking, so I'll stick with the 3570K.

Hey
its not mean only 4670k oc. Every "K" cpu you can oc. 3570k also can be oc.
I chose haswell because its new chipset and faster around 10% than ivy bridge and may be some future proof bcs next upcoming gen BROADWELL also may come in 1150 socket.
If you want to stick with ivy bridge than its your choice. But you can go with Haswell for everything better you will just need a better cpu cooler IF you plan to oc.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

For gaming rig
1. Dont need 1866 mhz memory. 1600mhz is enough for everything.
2. Crossfire means always in problems. So dont go with amd gpu if plan one more gpu to add. Nvidia is best for sli and 760is newest chip. Its performance, cooling, everything is upgraded. So it is best option.
3. Cx series psu dont support haswell. So better to go with haswell certified psu like i chose.
4. Ssd samsung 840 pro is best and hdd he can upgrade one more to 1tb or as his wish in one month. Present time dont need much storage. 500gb is enough for right now.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
